We at IMDb are saddened by the recent passing of Rene Auberjonois, best known as Constable Odo on the long running Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993). His career, that spanned six decades, soared after two uncredited appearances in the mid 1960s with a supporting role on the Robert Altman film, M*A*S*H (1970) as Father John Mulcahy. From there he was in demand as a supporting character actor. Along the way came one of his more memorable roles on the comedy Benson (1979), as Clayton Runnymede Endicott III. As the years passed, Rene kept very busy supplying his voice on many animated TV shows and movies. Condolences to all his family and friends. We shall all miss him.
