In the past few years, several monumental works of cinema history have been restored and released into cinemas with their new glorious 4k resolutions: Gillo Pontecorvo's The Battle of Algiers (1966); Krzysztof Kieslowski's The Decalogue (1989); Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker (1979); etc....

What pre1978 film* would you want to see remastered into 4K resolution and given a special theatrical rerelease?
