A Hasse Ekman in the late 1950s is almost always a disappointment. Despite good character actors like Gunnar Björnstrand and Eva Dahlbeck, the plot doesn't go beyond slightly amusing. There is nothing original in this story about a married couple who starts to consider why they ever married. Bibi Anderssons is wonderful as always.
