Just the right antidote for the bloated pretentiousness of "Interview With the Vampire". Christopher Lee's classic snarl, John Bernard's smoldering score, crucifixes everywhere, and more fog than San Francisco in the AM: I ask you, isn't that what we watch a Dracula film for? A good friend of mine wretches at all the religious imagery, but even he admits that this is superior to the bad wigs, and thin accents in "Interview", and no Slater to boot. Woo Hoo!
