Review of Green Card

Green Card (1990)
9/10
Interesting story

I thought this was a well-written movie. Found it interesting that he got married for a green card and she got married for a green house. I loved the apartment she got to live in. Both characters became important to each other as they really got to know something of each other....not just the normal things, but the emotional feelings about life. Spending a weekend together was the most important thing. Whenever they looked at each other and no words were said, you could almost feel the affection between them growing. Both actor and actress did an excellent job of bringing their characters to life. I also felt that the ending was all right, because somehow you could believe that she would go overseas in the near future and remarry him over there, perhaps in a nice ceremoney, and bring him back home with her. It was a pleasant movie to watch and one you can watch with your children in most cases.
