"Pushing Tin," although falling a little short of the expectations set by its great first act, is nonetheless a pleasant, often entertaining movie. The characters are well-drawn, even the minor ones, and somewhat original. Billy Bob, John Cusack, and Angelina Jolie are all good, but the real standout is Cate Blanchett. It is just impossible to watch her and remember that she was Elizabeth I just a few months ago. An amazing actress, she is the next Meryl Streep.
