An Excellent Film!
16 March 1999
I saw this film premiere at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas and I was very impressed with both the story and the acting. This film stars Dedee Pfeiffer as a young woman who over the course of a couple of weeks confronts a series of difficult events which make her reevaluate what is most important in her life. It has comedic moments spread throughout the film, provided by characters played by Teri Garr, Howard Hesseman, Laura Leighton, and even Chris Elliott. Bert Remsen also put in a great performance as an elderly patient in a hospital who Dedee's character visits as a volunteer. Overall, a very touching story.
