Typical Greek comedy of the 60's, made around Kostas Chatzichristos, with a lot of very good actors, just supporting him. The direction and the editing are rather sloppy and the plot continues the standard topic of most of Chatzichristos movies. The inteligent peasant (this time in the army) does really well in the society of the city folks and wins in the end, even if things get very rough for him. Social education for the new urban population of the time and some nice jokes and the Greek keep on enjoying this film over and over again.
