I liked this film overall but it could have been so much better. It seemed like they were trying to parody '50s teen melodramas, '60s beach films and '70s/'80s slasher films all at the same time-they bit off more than they could chew. The script has some laughs here and there but is annoyingly uneven. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the concept and approach. Recommended to cult film fans who don't demand perfection.
