I expected Joe Dirt to be just as lousy as most of the rest SNL alumni offerings. Certainly, it's not great cinematic achievement but for mindless, juvenile humor it's not so bad. Christopher Walken parodies himself rather well, Dennis Miller is solid, and Kid Rock is so suitable for his redneck role. Brittany Daniel is not so convincing in her role as Spade's love interest but she looks amazing. If you've got an hour and a half to kill, catch it HBO or something.
