Godass is a raw portrayal of a teenage girl who isn't cut from the norm. It's refreshing to see a young woman in a film that does not go on ridiculous shopping binges and has a life that does not revolve around getting/wanting/having the boy. I found this film to be full of life. The underground punk world is usually portrayed cinematically in way that is only destructive rather than Godass that is productive and active.
