Electric Playground (1997– )
Leagues better than Burly T.V. or the old GamePro T.V.

Finally, I've found a great T.V. show that deals with one of my favorite hobbies: console video games and their systems as well as PC games. Made and syndicated in Canada, it only took one show to make me want to see this one on a regular basis. Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico (a phenom in the early to mid 1990's when it came to providing soundtracks for 16-bit videogames) deliver interviews with game designers and programmers of the hottest games coming out for the PlayStation 2, XBox, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo GameBoy Advanced, and PC, as well as new equipment and technology coming in the near future. They also do game reviews, and unlike Burly T.V.'s two idiotas, these two actually explain what you need to know about the game and give a detailed opinion of how it plays and if they recommend it. They certainly speak their mind; they're the only one who gave Super Smash Brothers Melee for GameCube a low score when everyone else is praising it. They also have a great website that offers free video footage from their show, news, tips, detailed reviews, and more. All in all, a new show for me to watch regularly; Oh, how I wish I had known about this show sooner.
