This is the type of film where you ask "What's going on?" while it's going on and then you ask "What just went on??" when it's over. But its striking look, perfect musical touch, and mysterious dialogue and plot will leave you haunted. It has a surreal and foreign feel executed with style and taste. The lack of explanation or obvious denouement enhances the otherworldly effect and compels the viewer to watch it again, whether on the screen or in the head.
