"Young waker of the winds..."

Warning: Spoilers
(MAY CONTAIN SLIGHT SPOILERS) When I first got the Gamecube, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker came with it free! I popped in the game disk, and thus began a great gaming experience.

The story takes place almost 100 years after The Ocarina of Time. It was then custom for boys over 13 to be clothed with the same green clothing as the hero who saved the land of Hyrule(Link). So a young boy on an island called Outset Island has turned that age of 13, and is given a telescope by his little sister, Aryll. When he goes off to the woods to find a girl who is dropped by a giant bird, Aryll gets caught by the bird, and is destined to find her!

The gameplay is very similar to Ocarina of Time, except the sword combos are different, such like the items you collect! The only thing I hated in this game is the lack of dungeons. You'd expect they thrown in like 8 different dungeons like in OOT, but no! But it's still fun.

The graphic style is called "cel-shaded", which is kind of like cartoony like, very different from the previous 3D games. But it's great for any type of gamer who wants a change in looks!

This games gets a nice ****.5/***** in my book of great videogames!
