When I saw the cast I thought that this would be a great movie. Granted, albeit the run of the mill kidnapping film, but with quality actors. Boy was I wrong! This was the biggest waste of 1 1/2 hours that I have spent in months. Boring, boring, boring!!! By the time this movie was half way through, I knew that it was going nowhere.......... slowly. This should have been on Redford's Sundance channel. If you watch movies to be entertained, pass this one up. If you watch them to be cerebral, pass this one up. It makes no sense, has absolutely ZERO action, and has only one hint of being a thriller, which is when Redford's wife drops off the ransom and turns back to look for her husband. That takes about 2 minutes of the movie. The rest is not worth the film that it was shot with. What a waste! 1/2 out of 10.
