Creep (I) (2004)
blood drenched delight!
28 February 2005
I am a self confessed woos when it comes to horror films so I could have murdered my cousin when she took me to see it with her friend, but as it was his birthday and they needed me, being the only one of us over 18 I felt slightly pushed into doing it. After being completely scared after about two minutes, Iconsoled in whether I should just sink into my seat and hide for 2 hours. However this was a great film bearing similarities, even though they have different settings, to wrong turn. OK there may have been the stereotypes (the English hating Scot)and the complete moments of stupidity in the film but remained solid. Franke Potente was good as the mutants dinner target and the "creep" bared and infectious laugh and wicked funny approach to his victims. (Oh just a quick message, if you are going to see this film, especially if you are a woman, you should cross you're legs, people who have seen this will know what am talking about!)This is a great B movie style film with the inexpensive existing set of charring cross being a great setting for a slasher horror. One to see but not great to watch with the kids!
