Well, after seeing a lot of Sergiu Nicolaescu's(a famous romanian director) I took a shoot in watching "Milionari de weekend", movie directed by Catalin Saizescu. It's basically a simple movie in which 3 guys and a girl get into a Russian Mafia conflict involving some art museum treasure, some money and you can see where this is getting to....I'm not going to give away any of the events from the movie, just going to let you watch it for yourself. In my opinion,"Milionari de weekend" reminds of Guy Richie's "Snatch" with all the close up footages, events mixed up, russians (there ls an actually Boris character here too..), a lot of characters not really defined...Anyway, some of you might know what I am talking about. On the other hand, I enjoyed some of characters, there's some good laughs in there and yes the fact that there are young actors starring in makes me think that yes, Romania can make movies.
