Pee-wee's Playhouse (1986–1991)

This really was a great show

Even though this is a kid's show, many adults liked it too. Pee-Wee Herman is a very childish and funny character. He is so funny that just looking at him and how he acts makes you laugh. His laugh is so funny that I laugh every time I hear it. In many ways, Pee-wee Herman is a real life version of Spongebob Square Pants. They both laugh the same, they both wear suits, and they are both very childish.

This show has a lot of good things about it, and it was fun to watch. I'm well in my teens now and I still watch it whenever it comes on. There are also plenty of characters that make the show fun, as well as the plot lines that kept the show going. There are also some good lessons for kids that are shown in a way that won't bore them, but they will probably pick up on.

For a while, it seemed like nothing could go wrong with this show, or Pee-wee Herman. All of this, as well as Paul Rubens's reputation were ruined in 1991. He was arrested for indecent exposure in a XXX theater. After this, the show was canceled and his reputation went downhill.

I wish they never canceled this show. At least they show repeats of it on HBO occasionally.

I will always like this show. There's something good about every episode of it. Watch it if you ever get the chance, and maybe you will be like many others and love it.
