When I was younger I always used to watch this show straight after Sesame Street. From the same creators as The Magic Roundabout this was quite a good and simple show about loads of creatures made of plants. The only one I can remember who was my favourite of however many was Parsley the Lion. He was green and had parsley for fur and hair. He used to always sing his little song and go around the garden having tiny adventures either in the garden or greenhouse, possibly with friends I can't remember. I don't remember if Parsley was like an Eeyore character (depressed) but I think he felt lonely sometimes. That's about all I can remember about it. It was number 54 on The 100 Greatest Kids' TV Shows. Good!
