Went to see this with me old man last night as it was one he fancied, and have to say it was a decent if not amazing film.
The main stars were superb, Jamie Foxx is great though has some awful dialogue and Jessica Biel looks hot but Josh Lucas steals the show as a typical American fighter pilot (from a UK perspective at least).
You can tell the film's directed by Cohen, and features the kind of action sequences you'd expect from his work. The CGi is superb, the planes being so realistic. A little criticism comes from the speed of some of the shots, you just can't keep up with it some times.
Overall, a decent bit of American entertainment. Maybe more a film to rent a lonesome Friday night than a cinema flick, but I'd still give it 3/5 - converted to 6/10 for the IMDb.
