This movie shows a family as survivors of a ship wreck on a deserted island. And they are making the most of it. It doesn't bother me that the Mother doesn't have an input into the design of the house I assumed she was doing whatever mothers did back then nor was I concerned about all the the different animals on the island, where they came from, or that they were riding on the backs of these wild animals. I accepted this point as another ship wreck, the same way they did and the other girl (love interest).
This is a great movie and lots of fun for the WHOLE family to watch. Since my wife purchased this movie we have shown it to guest in our house and since our children have grown up, married and have children of their own they borrow it from time to time.
