I used to watch this in Spanish class. It was really lame. it involves 14 year old Marta who won't shut-up about having a quince anyos (15th birthday) bash but her dad has a secret. Hes an immigrant. If she does go, her escort would be her ugly nerd cousin Octovio. She wants to go with her friend's cousin Ramon. Now this was stupid. Ramon looks like he must be 35 and Marta is 14. I find that a bit strange, and so does her father who bands her from seeing him. The kids and Ramon can't act, but the parents do a nice job and Jerry Stiller's pretty good as the bossman. But even with that said, its still really cheesy to the point of cringeing.
