Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005 Video Game)
Fantastic!
19 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Well, i have been gripped on it for over 2 weeks now. Big and little changes have occurred on the new need for speed title, like now being able to be pursued by cops. However one of the better improvements has to be real people being used in the clips, instead of a comic book appearance that we saw in underground 2, we now have real people. The graphics are absolutely stunning and reflections are breath taking. Police have varying levels of difficulty. You will start of with the local cops that will escalate into federal agents, and consequently leading into Cross' big idea, which are beefed up sports cars. You are conveniently given a radio scanner to pick up police signals, this is by far one of the best bits. You can hear the police radios, they tell each other what their going to do, and they will say where abouts you are, its extremely clever the way they've done it, and there's not just 1 voice, there must be 8 or 9 different voices. The AI is very clever and the computer will take advantage of any crashes you do in later pursuits, and they will use any means necessary to stop you. From a couple of cars put in the middle of the highway to SUVs parked from one end to the other with spike strips layed out across the area. Overall a great game, and i would recommend it any day.
