There are clear parallels between Shawshank Redemption (as others have already noted) and the film. While there's hesitation in calling it a masterpiece, what carried it off in the end is the story itself and how skilfully it was interwoven. The director showed occasional flashes of brilliance.
One would think that the third role could also have been a professional actor but the impact is negligible. Editing is good, and it seems Bollywood *may be* headed in a new direction. Keep it up.
