I don't believe this!!! This movie is boring, dull, lame, stupid, uninteresting and way too politically correct. It's not even so bad it's funny. The son of a family of illusionists throws a party. A group of motorcycle-scum with a bad 80's wardrobe crashes the party. The family decides to teach them a (magical) lesson.
We have completely lame third-rate cheap tricks (like flowers being pulled out of whatever, cards appearing by sleight of hand) performed by the family whenever they get the chance. The leader of the pack is not convincing and he looks gay (like in homo-sexual). When they crash the party, the only thing they do is throw some food and try to set fire to the sofa (they fail in doing so). Absolutely nobody gets killed or even hurt and when grandpa shows up he counts to 5 and the bad guys willingly LEAVE THE HOUSE(!), just like that. At the end when the bad boys are trapped in a house and the family unleashes its 'devilish' tricks, one mean tough-looking dude is actually scared of a FLOATING MASK(?!?!) (I admit, that was kinda funny and I expected the dude to cry out for his mommy). Oh, yeah, this movie has probably the dumbest 80's pop-song ever on its soundtrack. And you get to hear it twice. Over the opening- and end-credits.
Boy, oh boy, this movie was unbelievable. I bet Movie Nuttball is gonna give this tripe 10 out of 10 stars. If you come across this movie: turnaround and walk away. If you wanna see a movie about crazy people on motorcycles, watch MAD MAX. If you wanna watch a suspenseful movie about real magic, watch Clive Barker's LORD OF ILLUSIONS. If you wanna see a drama-movie, watch any Meryl Streep-movie. If you wanna scream in terror, watch BAMBI. But whatever you do, don't watch TURNAROUND. There's no action, no mystery, no thrills, no comedy and no drama. But it IS a movie for the whole family. That is if your family consists of retards.
