I've seen quite a few comic-based movies, some were awful (BATMAN AND ROBIN, SUPERMAN IV, HULK), some were just cool ( FANTASTIC FOUR, BLADE, X-MEN, BATMAN BEGINS), CONSTANTINE falls into that category of cool.
I've read in other places and even on here that "even the main stars couldn't save this movie from a bad script". The story, though somewhat familiar, wasn't bad and had some very funny interactions, between Constantine, his sidekick, and some of the demons that he had to face. The special effects were awesome; not too big, not too small. Reeves' acting was on the mark and Weisz was awesome, even hot and sexy in some places. Even Reeves' sidekick had some cool moments.
All in all, this is a very good movie and, not to tell too much, frighteningly exciting. I recommend this one.
