Almost as bad as the name
17 May 2006
Warning: Spoilers
If you looked at the title and thought, 'That sounds like a horrible movie,' then you are absolutely right. I watched the Mystery Science Theater version and almost gave up halfway through that one. If even MST3K can't coerce you to finishing the movie, there's not much else that can. Why is it so horrible? Let me count the ways . . . First, the ridiculous sound. You can barely hear it, which isn't a bad thing in this case. It sounds like it was recorded on Edison's first phonograph, as the MST3K crew continually point out. Second is the cast of the movie. Almost everyone is Eastern European, which isn't always a bad thing. Eastern Europeans who can't act, however, is a very bad thing. Third is the story. The thing about the story is . . . well, frankly, there is no story. Apparently, its about this guy who dumps his girlfriend to go to a strip club, where a psychic hypnotizes him to kill this girl who has no relation to the story whatsoever. Then the guy almost kills his girlfriend and gets shot by the police after freeing the rest of the zombies. Story? This movie doesn't need one. There's no way that gaining one would help any.
