Saw the film this afternoon and cannot extol its praises quite enough. She/he is a wonderment to me - wish I could meet this creature. So kind, so beautiful, so lovable! It is quite difficult to believe that this story was written by the same person who wrote Butcher Boy - one of the most violent films I have ever seen. Patrick McCabe has to be one of the most unusual writers in the world. This film might seem odd to the conventional, but to me it seems like a wonderland. How could anyone think this person could be anything but what he is. An Angel. I am buying the book now. Cannot get enough of this person. Also, the actor, Cillian Murphy is a huge discovery.
