Darrow (1991 TV Movie)

I was in Pittsburgh, Pa., attending a "Public Defender's Junket" (read as convention), and road the subway to an exit where we saw a sign that said "extras report here," so my friend and I got in line. Next, we were given haircuts, and "period" clothes.

This was early in the day, and the shoot was being held in the Federal Courtroom.

Kevin had a long hard day mostly consisting of the closing argument. I was in the front row and Kevin picked me out to maintain eye contact with. Kevin's pants were too big, and held up with suspenders as I suppose Darrow's pants were.

Spacey's closing argument was to "admit the facts, and win the case," which he did; that is, he admitted the murder by the misguided young geniuses and saved them from the chair.

By the way, I never got paid for my eight hours since I left to go to the Public Defender's banquet before pay time.
