Review of Little People, Big World

I feel that this family is as "normal" as any I've seen. I smile when saying this, because of other comments I've seen posted here. :-) These kids are absolutely the "norm", whether some of you believe this or not. This includes Zack & his friends picking on Jacob. Yes, I feel that Zachery is hateful & mean spirited toward Jacob. If Jacob even smiles at him and the other boys...it seems to me that he gets slapped around on by Zachery. I don't see this same attitude from Jeremy, but that could be that he just wasn't on camera when it happens. Personally, it appears to me that Zachery isn't all to happy about the fact that Jacob seems to be a bit quicker than himself, and it also seems to cause Zachery to be even rougher with Jacob...just so he can show Jacob "who's boss". I really hope the Roloffs do watch all of the episodes....and maybe they will gain insight into how some of the things happen and how to change some of the discord in their family. I love the segments where one of the boys are driving and the way in which the parents respond & interact with them...sounds exactly what we use to say to our 3 daughters when they first started to drive. One more thing....some of the posters are extremely critical of Amy. I enjoy watching how she seems to get things done that important to her. Matt's telling just in the way he starts darting his eyes around, when he & his family have a disagreement or he's feeling criticized....and by the way, he does appear to want to have control of everything, and to make decisions for the family...without Amy being a part of those decisions..or even discussions. In closing I want to let these people know that I very much admire them as a family, and for taking the opportunity to show us what a "true family really is all about!!!" I mean this in the best possible way. :-) They are good people!! All of us that have been critical should think about this..."How would the public see us and our families" if we were in the same situation?? :-) Gee, I didn't mean to write so much, so I better close this....Grantu8
