I really mean what my subject says. When I was younger and the show first came out, I became glued to the TV. I was amazed that people actually did what I would love to do for a living, and not only enjoyed it, but helped other people as well. There was one episode where Richard told a landscaper who postponed going to college to work that he'd pay for college if he quit landscaping.
I just thought about how wonderful that must feel, to be able to give someone that gift, and not ask for anything in return.
I decided to track down the Trademark Properties website where I found Ginger's email. I wrote to her about how I would like to do what she was doing, and asked what I needed to do to get there.
About a month later she responded with a very sincere email and gave me some great advice.
It's been about a year since that first email, and now I am working at Remax in Orlando. I'm starting at the bottom as an administrative assistant but who knows ... maybe I'll have my own show too one day. =D
