The main story here is a hijacking of a helicopter on the top of a hospital building. An organ - a liver for a transplant - is the object that someone was after and was willing to kill people to get. Mac, Sheldon, Flack and Danny all examine this case. Time is of the essence as some dying person's life could be saved with this organ.
Note: The main doctor in the first case looked familiar. He was Joel Gretsch, who played golfing great "Bobby Jones" in "The Legend of Bagger Vance."
The secondary story concerns a 22-year-old female found dead in lying in a tunnel with a head resting on some wheel of bicycle spokes, with one of the spokes going through her neck. Stella and Lyndsay investigate that one. They have a quick suspect but there are no signs of a struggle and it's a puzzling case.....and, it turns out, one with a history.
