Shark: The Wrath of Khan (2007)
Season 1, Episode 11
1/10
terrible episode of a great show
4 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I am a huge fan of "Shark." This episode, "The Wrath of Khan," is a colossal mess of bad melodrama. One cliché after another. Gimmicks that were old in the 1950s. One clever plot twist surrounded by implausible events. Most of the finale doesn't really even make sense. The rest is physically impossible. A man outruns a bullet.

A (partial) list of clichés: Show starts at the climax and then the entire show is a flashback. Feds interfere and don't care about innocent lives, including series regular. Civilian is allowed to join SWAT team assault and then jumps into fray.

A (partial) list of impossibilities: Fed can stop a double-cross by simply walking across the tarmac and joining Stark, but stands still. Two men exit a car and run a dozen yards after police begin shooting suspect with automatic weapons and before the suspect is hit.
