We watched this film for three reasons - we lived in Cross Flatts until recently moving to NZ, in fact my wife grew up in Beeston. My wife went to school with Kelli Hollis, and after Kelli emailed us the trailer we thought it looked pretty good!
I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very impressed. I really enjoyed the film. I'd like to see the earlier Tina stuff now.
It's light hearted and funny in places but also covers the more serious stuff - race relations, drugs (Asif casually walking around the children's' playground picking up syringes is a sobering sight)
It was great to see so many familiar places and hear the Leeds accents too!
