Rated E Super Mario Bros 1 is a classic NES game.It was great for its time and it dates very well.Its still fun to play today.Super Mario Bros 3 is also a great Super Mario Bros game.Super Mario Bros 2 however is disappointing.There was a different Super Mario Bros 2 released in Japan.However it was exactly the same as the first and was much much harder.So the US distributor did not want to release it.So they took a different game, changed the characters to Mario characters and voilà you got Super Mario Bros 2 the US version.The Japanese version was re-released in 1993 for SNES as Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels for the game Super Mario All Stars.Anyway Super Mario Bros 2 lets you play as four different characters.Mario,Luigi,Princess or Toad.Each character has a special ability.Instead of just jumping on an enemy, you have to jump on them,pick them up and throw them to kill them.Super Mario Bros 2 is an interesting game that's worth playing but not as good as the first three.
