Listen, this is not a sequel to DUS (bad as that one was or whatever) contrary to any rumours your might have heard. Rather, CASH is a pointless, script-less and senseless rip-off of Yash Raj's Dhoom 2. Everything from the stunts, action scenes and even the house the two main characters from Dhoom 2 stay in while they were in Rio De Janeiro.
It's chock full of the talentless and the talented yet somehow manages to equally waste them all without even discriminating. I mean one would think that with great veteran actors like Ajay Devgan and Suniel Shetty in leading roles, something good would have at least been made of their presence but no, this film is a train wreck from start to finish veteran actors aside. Even the eye-candy by way buffed up Zayed Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh (for the girls) and Esha Deol, Dia Mirza & Shamita Shetty (for the boys) disappoint by failing to make us go Dhoom! um, I mean... CASH! (sorry, bad pun I guess)
The music is as banal as the cast with the song 'Mind blowing Maiya' being the only true stand-out yet only because the rest of it is just fluff. Shamita does not stop until she pounds the point home that she is no Shilpa Shetty (and please take that however you want to LOL!) Sometimes, the songs exist in a movie only to cover up the bad script but what happens when the songs are just as bad as the cast and script? Watch at your own risk.
