I liked the idea of the comic being brought to life and they did sort of stick to the book but there are some huge holes that I didn't like but overall if you are a superman fan and I count myself as a superman fan it was worth watching. I will say this also with the exception of Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor on "Smallville" James Marsters got it right. his Lex Luthor is perfectly villainous and creepy. He was also able to capture, for lack of a better phrase, Lex Luthor's respect as it were for Superman. I agree about the animation but once you get into the story that part of it goes away. Overall I would have to say good job, but could have been better.
