Ernest Scared Stupid has to be one of the funniest films in the whole franchise this silly yet enjoyable comedy sees our beloved hero fighting to save the town from an army of trolls. Jim Varney played the role of Ernest to perfection , he was an incredible comedian and actor who brought laughter to everyone in all of his movie roles.
In this latest installment Ernest P. Worrell (Varney) now the garbage disposal engineer for the peaceful town of Briarville finds himself drawn into battle when he accidentally releases a 200 year old troll from it's tomb. The troll has the ability to transform children into wooden dolls and it's up to this lovable goof ball and his friends including Old Lady Hackmore (Kitt) a longtime resident to stop this reign of evil before it's too late.
I give this silly Halloween flick a solid 6/10
