Women's Murder Club (2007–2008)
5/10
So-so crime soap opera
19 October 2007
WMC is a women's show featuring several females in various jobs related to law enforcement who have formed a bond to catch criminals. The show will not last as it is lazily scripted and indifferently directed and generically cast, but it it worth watching for one reason: Angie Harmon as a gung-ho but troubled cop, doing her best impression of Jill Hennessey from the now-canceled and much-missed CROSSING JORDAN, which WAS a show worth watching. Harmon and Hennessey, as most of you know, both served as partners to Sam Waterston on LAW & ORDER. Unfortunately, Harmon alone will not save this show. Catch it now, as I suspect it will not be back for a second season.
