Friendly gnomes get cold feet
13 November 2007
Translated title: Plop and the Penguin. Plop is a gnome that lives in a toadstool somewhere in a forest together with his friends. He's halfway famous with the kids in Belgium and The Netherlands and in that way I am exposed to it too.

In this film a penguin ends up in the forest by accident and when the gnomes learn that something nasty is going to happy to it and its friends they decide to help out in a way that only gnomes can.

Much better than the previous film (Plop in De Stad or Plop in the City) this one has an actual bit of story including a source of evil and some creatures that can be cared about, making it much easier to sit through this film without falling asleep than the previous one.

The kid absolutely loved the film and that is the main thing with this kind of films so I am not complaining at all.
