Heroes of Might and Magic IV (2002 Video Game)
10/10
The Greatest!
23 January 2008
This game was ahead of it's time.

Like so many other, I didn't like it the first time i played it. Everything was different from the Heroes III game. Also, although very good, the music was not as great, and the graphics.. the higher resolution and the eye candy made it seem like you're playing in the campaign editor. It just wasn't the same as the Heroes series we all know and love, so i stopped playing it after a while.

i haven't played heroes for a few years now, and i decided to try and play the Heroes IV thing once again. I also got both expansion packs for it.. and now i can't get enough of it! so many great spells, an immensely interesting leveling system.. and the graphics are pretty good once you actually start playing. Heroes are out there in the battle-field, and it's "the" feature that makes this game so good. you can have an army of 7 heroes, and it's like playing an RPG game. if you concentrate all the experience on one hero, he can take almost any number of enemies all by himself. it feels pretty good once you get to that level. all in all, i love this game, and think it's the greatest of the HOM&M series.

I came here now and saw the 6.8 mark. this marvel is very much underrated i must say. If you didn't give this game a chance to sink in, you don't know what fun you're missing.
