Warning: Spoilers
Kurudhipunal - "River of blood" as it means, really takes you to another level to show the blood drenched, terror woven society and the elements operating in them - Two honest cops, a mission, a rebel leader whose dogma is unshakeable but yet cannot be justified, the political leeches, corrupt officials...Kamal's best performance as a cop for sure. The screenplay is very natural in that it projected Cops as human beings who can get lured and driven to any extent at times. Definitely not the larger than life roles. The dialogues between Nasser and Kamal stand apart. It shows both sides of the coin and it doesn't try to portray what exactly caused the rebellion group.

Honesty at stake !! Break point of a man !! Wow !! Its simple psychology.. Nasser;s performance cannot be taken away..He made his presence immensely critical to the movie's overall success. Spoiler ahead : Adi dies and his letter is handed over to the department. His Letter was a plea to someone who could stop this "river of blood".

Personally it constantly reminds that how strong you are, when the toughest situation comes, you can't really back all your principles and this world can be so cruel.

Salute to PC Sreeram for excellent camera work and no part I felt it got digressed even a bit.

Must watch for any classic movie lover. No songs was the real plus I should say and it never diluted the theme. Gutsy performance from the entire crew. Kamal truly the BEST in business and Nasser no less to him.
