I give it 7/10 because I think it is funny and give me joyous moments. Though the storyline is simple, there is no lack of exciting scenes. The car-chasing is good. Some say that the acting is bad, but I think the actor have played their role dutifully.
I would not put my bars too high for a comedy film. If you are expecting a film that could inspire you, it's probably not for you. All I can say that it is good for 2 hr of relax.

I have not watched the French version, so could not compare the two. Perhaps the French one is much superior, but that would not affect my rating on the film.
