This game is near brilliance, I don't know any other game where you can do what you can in this game. Crackdown is basically like a robocop-isque future law enforcement game and a fun one to boot. You start as a rookie cop busting gangs but when you get to max up the abilities...that's when it gets really fun. You can jump rooftops, you can throw cars, you can throw dead bodies in the sea to get rid of the trace of them, you can crash enemies by jumping on them. The list goes on... Crackdown is just a pure adrenaline filled destruction roller-coaster thrill ride from beginning to end. I had so much fun on this game, and if you get the keys to the city download, there so much death and destruction you can dish out with new weapons and features to the point where you become near indestructible and pound those gangs into submission. It wasn't long until i started loving this game and dishing out the hurt on the annoying gangs. Be warned though make sure no civilians are standing by when you fire anything at the gangs otherwise you will incur civilian casualties and possibly enforcer (the name for the police force in this game)casualties which will cause you great danger as the enforcers will turn on you and you will be targeted for annihilation. Personally i love blowing up the gangs cars and that sometimes catches one or two enforcer car and that unfortunately causes a lot of heat. Ah well, Cest la vie. I'd really love to see a sequel to this game as it is a great game and i think there is potential still in it that we haven't seen yet. If you are looking for a game that will give you not only free roam of the huge city that is in Crackdown but allow you to totally obliterate enemies, then Crackdown just might be for you.
