I'm Norwegian and I am probably one of the people that the above poster referred to as someone who wouldn't have any idea who Deidre Hall is
But let me tell you this; I DO know who she is. And she has impressed me with her talent countless time over the years. So please, don't diminish the woman's fame outside the American borderline, we are well aware of who she is and what she has accomplished.
As for the movie, I absolutely loved it. It's a story that needed to be told and a story that tells of an amazing human being that never gave up on her lifelong wish to become a mother. It has nothing to do with preferring surrogacy over adoption; it's simply a story about a woman who chooses what feels right in her heart.
