The basic story line was plausible considering we are talking about Eureka. Basically a world within a world story line. Frances Fisher's character is trying to turn Eureka into a profitable operation....and she learns about Lab 27, which is a self-sustaining world built underneath Eureka.
But I digress. I just wanted to point out that there was a big goof at the end of the show. During the last few minutes of the show, Fisher's character is looking at old films. One film case is dated some date in February 1939. There is a notification on the case that states that if the case is found opened, you should call a 202-xxx-xxx telephone number.
Unfortunately for Eureka, area codes were not developed until the 1940s and were only put into use in 1947.
Seven digit phone numbers were not used in 1939 either.
I am very much surprised that these goofs weren't caught. I guess someone made a big OOOOPPPSS!
