Hitler... Revealed
12 August 2008
I think what i enjoyed the most in this movie was some Splendid Performances by the Players. This is of course a TV Movie but it does not gives the feeling of a regular Television Movies at all. Especially for it's amazing Narration and Cinematography.

You have to sit tight for the performance of Robert Carlyle who plays Adolf Hitler. I must also confess that i did not find him Devilish at all. Or maybe the Film Maker tried to show him a Revolutionary. The anger for 'Jews' in the character Hitler looked very real. I started believing that it was actually not Robert Carlyle but Adfolf Hitler on my screen. The second performance you have to look forward is of Liev Schreiber (Ernst Hanfstaengl). A very settled and Under Played part that makes you feel that you are watching a Legend Performing. And last but not the least, Julliana Margulies (Helene Hanfstaengl) i think is one of the best calculative and frustrated woman i have ever seen on screen. Someimes, She also gave me a feeling that she is a Hard Core Adolf's follower.

The film is a little longer than i expected. But still the Fast Narration keeps you tight on the edge. Frankly speaking, I never heard that Adolf Hitler had a bad eye on his niece. This was something new to me or maybe re created to show Adolf's cruelty. But i ask myself that if Adolf Hitler called himself an Artist, A Revolutionary and A True German, How can he be so immature regarding relations? The story structure and narration are the PLUS points in the film that keeps you engage despite of a Long Movie Journey. The camera work of the film is JUST breath taking and has some stunning visuals attached. The editing strictly follows the story journey again and was required a little.

I will strongly recommend this movie to all the people who would like to know the Rise of the Evil as the tag line says. Worth watching especially for the Performances and Performers attached to this Movie!
