Get me out of this ant farm!

If you pay careful attention to articles and reviews about Giuseppe Andrews' works, you'll often see the word "genius" come up. While people may scoff at the notion (or just think that anything the slightest bit unique is called "genius"), I would be hard-pressed to find any open-minded person who can sit down and watch this entire thing without thinking the same thing: This man is an absolute genius. I've watched thousands of films, but this work stands out to me as the most inventive, unique, creative, and funniest movie I've ever seen.

So often, humor is contrived, calculated, and scripted from every single possible angle (even the "improvisations", the "ad-libbing", are planned); that probably explains the continued existence of those awful Will Ferrel movies... there are "comedy movies" designed specifically for the close-minded, easy-to-please crowd who doesn't want to be challenged -- or perhaps wants all their laughs to be safe. Here is a movie where nothing is safe, nothing is off-limits, nothing is held back. Truly uncompromising cinema of the highest regard, with no hidden agendas, no multi million dollar corporate dream house aspirations, no crowd-pleasing shots; this is purely from the heart and is the purest form of cinema I've ever seen.

This is, simply put, the funniest film I've EVER seen. From first shot to last shot. No filler. Completely well-made, well-directed, well-lit. Great music. Great actors. Truly interesting the entire time, never gets boring. Completely unique. What else to say? Giuseppe Andrews is the most innovative, surreal, funniest, absurd, and talented director in North America. He's up there with Guy Maddin, David Lynch, and David Cronenberg. Watch this immediately. You won't be sorry -- unless you're an idiot.
