As he is helping a young child find his bicycle, which may have been stolen, lawyer Lex Larsen (Frank Krog) stumbles onto a situation in which the boy's mother Vigdis Wang (Kristin Kajander) is being threatened with rape by gang of delinquents. After sending the boys packing, the woman discovers that Lex is a lawyer and asks him to help her get a divorce from her husband, whom she is no longer living with. When that same husband is found on Vigdis' living room floor quite dead, suspects multiply, beginning with the Vigdis herself. Is the murderer her boss, who may or may not be her lover? Is it an old family friend? Her hyper-religious sister? In this detective story, Lex attempts to find out, but meanwhile one suspect after another is being killed.
