Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (2008 Video Game)
9/10
Very Original
5 January 2009
I have to say this is one of the most fun I've had playing video games. I mostly play the violent "if it moves shoot it!" kind of games so this is an odd one for me to play.

The game play can be very difficult if you're using the wrong vehicle because it will give barely any hints (sometimes none at all) on what the correct one it is to use. Not only that but if you do have a rough idea of what vehicle you want you may not have the correct parts or enough of them to do the challenge making you skip it and continuing playing through in hopes that you'll find it.

But that aside, the game play is very original (it can get a little repetitive). For all of you Banjo fans you may be a bit disappointed, because the game play is much different than the original, as I have seldom knowledge of it only playing it when I was six, I'll try to go with what I remember. Instead of all the jumping and fighting, that's been replaced with vehicles, now you can make anything you want to do any task you want. If the objective is to move object A to object B you could make at least 10 different vehicles and still do it with lightening speed.

The building is extremely fun and if you're not a fan of the Banjo games you should at least give it a try just for this aspect of the game. Through out the game you collect crates in the main town area, these crates contain parts that you use to make vehicles. You must collect all of these parts because it is the only way you will ever make it through the game. It is truly a way to let your creativity loose, you can make a rocket propelled motorcycle, An airplane that floats using balloons, or a Truck that uses springs to jump to high places. Of course these are just some examples and if I was truly trying to list all of the things you could make it would require at least a good 100 pages or so. Bottom line, defiantly worth my time and money.
